Why this exists

I’ve been terrible at documenting my own infrastructure and realized that since I want to dump Ubiquiti’s tire fire of a failed product line, I’d have to take better ownership of the docs how I build my network and setup other tech toys in the future. I figured lets just do it publicly since maybe someone else can benefit from seeing how it’s setup (or someone else can correct me where I’ve made some terrible mistakes).

Why isn’t this a blog? Because the blog is at angrydome.com and geared towards top of mind ramblings, timeline of events. This site meant primarily for personal reference. I might write up about my experience moving to Ruckus Unleashed from Unifi on the blog, but how my actualy network is configured lives here. If I get motivated I may even try to link the context of what are my network related posts to my network documentation. Then the blog becomes a chronological representation of my learnings and the current active state is recorded here.
